Hello, Thanks for posting your query. I have gone through your problem and share your concern. Lymph node swelling in neck for a few days is known in majority of acute infections of Ear nose throat. But persistent swelling for 7 months is a cause of concern, but no need to be worried too much. If I were your doctor, I would have got done an ultrasound of the neck to know the echotexture of nodes. If there are few prominent nodes, I would think of getting done a FNAC. Mostly reactive lymphadenitis are secondary to either sinusitis or tonsillitis, but I want to make sure. You might need a long antibiotic course.
