My daughter felt like something was in her eye while we were in the car. By the time we got home she said it felt like it was out, but the scelra is now red and swollen (looks like the iris is sinking into her eye). Should we do anything for this or will it go down on its own?
Hello It seems from the history that your daughter is having a foreign particle in her eye which had caused red eyes. This requires examination by your doctor to look for any foreign body and its removal to prevent complications like infections. Following the removal she need to use antibiotic eye drops. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
