Hi
Welcome to healthcaremagic
After going through your query I think your doctor is right ,you may be having meralgia paresthetica. It is not necessary that it occurs only only if you wear tight cloths. It can be due to pressure over the nerves due to compression such as edema. Mecobalamine is helpful. Analgesics such as ibuprofen is helpful . If it is not responding to ibuprofen then strong analgesic such as tramadol is helpful. It can be treated by operation after confirmation that it is meralgia paresthetica. You can discuss with your Doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any further questions then don't hesitate to writing to us. I will be happy to help you.
