What Is The Treatment For A Knee Swelling?

my husband fell on his knee about an hour ago when we got home and looked at the knee he has a big goose egg on the front on the knee. He says it doesn't hurt to walk on it but it just feels funny. I have ice on it do you think he needs to be taken to the doctor right away>

I would suggest you to apply ice, and give him Brufen for pain and selling relief. If swelling increases then he need to see a doctor.Avoid bending knee and standing for long time. Do not massage the knee.You can also apply Diclofenac ointment.
