Pediatrician 's  Response
In the blood vessels, the blood does not clot. But when it extravasates and gets collected somewhere as in this blister, it gets gradually degraded. Depending on the stage, the colour varies between blackish, brownish, purplish, bluish, greenish, yellowish and gone. Yellow is the colour of bilirubin, a degradation product of haemoglobin, the red pigment that colours our blood. It is normal and in 5-10 days it should be completely gone without any need to go to a doctor for this.
