Hello!

Thank your for your question on HCM!

I understand your concern and I would like to explain that these symptoms may be caused by a high uncontrolled blood pressure or anxiety.

A thyroid dysfunction could also mimic this clinical scenario.

I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination, a resting ECG, a chest x ray, a routine blood test, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes, thyroid hormone levels.

If all the above mentioned tests result normal, the most probable cause of your complaints would be anxiety.

Hope to have been of help!

Best wishes,
Dr.Iliri
