Hello, Thank you for consulting with HCM.
This brown discharge which you are mentioning can be just a normal discharge which may be because of healing socket. As it happens in some cases but if it does not reduces after 7 days then you have to visit your dentist again and get the area examined for any infection.
Hope it will help you.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. Saurabh Gupta's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Anyone with a toothache should see a dentist at once for diagnosis and treatment. If left untreated, a toothache and the condition that is causing it can worsen. Removal of the entire tooth (extraction) or necrotic dental pulp (root canal / endodontic treatment) is the only successful treatment.
Antibiotics such as penicillin or metronidazole may be also required.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care

Hi
With your query, it looks you have an infection at one of the surgical site i would suggest you to better visit your dentist for needfull rather than leaving it like that.Hope this helps you.Your are not supposed to brush your teeth at the extracted site for minimum of 1 week.
