ALL/AML require chemotherapy and the course of treatment is decided by the Physician(Oncologist) who is treating and it depends on the response of the patient towards the medicine. The tolerance for the kids as well as elder person is same and you will have to support her as there is vomiting following chemotherapy during the treatment and there can be hairloss. Kids get disturbed about vomiting so you have to assure her and help her cope with it.As for the expense it depends on the city;the hospital;the drugs used and the doctor but the duration is long enough so the expense will be quite high like a few lakhs and the treating doctor will be the best person to tell about it so please discuss it with him.
