So sorry this has happened to your mother and I wish I could give you an exact number to answer your question. Survivability in stroke patients highly depends on their baseline health status prior to the stroke and whether or not they were able to recover any function afterward. It also depends upon the amount of supportive care they've been receiving for other body systems since the stroke such as cardiovascular, GI, and renal.

Having had a stroke and being bedridden obviously opens her up to a variety of other problems which most importantly would involve her respiratory system and lungs. I can tell you that her worst enemy at this point is probably pneumonia or other respiratory ailment due to the fact she is not able to move about freely or very well in or out of the bed.

Therefore, if you wished to do anything to improve her survivability in the current state she's in you will try and mobilize her in and even out of the bed as much as possible.

I wish you the best of everything in caring for your mother.
