Hi,

Noted the history about your daughter who is 2.3 years and started with loose motions since long, Doctor gave Oflox, Cyclopam, base powder which which the condition improved but not completely.

Stool test shows:

- mucus present, - RBCs 4-5/hpf and pus calls 10-12 hpf.

Hence the Doctor advised to get admitted. If the condition is felt serious like dehydration, toxemia, septicemia or the patient is not responding to routine, it is better to get admitted as a large loose stools and vomiting can cause dehydration on anytime. Also needed is probiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant
