What Is The Suggested Treatment For Hyperthyroidism?

Hi I have a pt 25 y.o. with 2 weeks history of hand tremor and palpitation. And calf pain, I check her thyroid function. TSH is 0.57 (0.35-5.5), T3 is 0.69 (0.6-1.81) and T4 is 1.32(0.7-1.85). Hello,

I understand your symptoms. These can be due to Hyperthyroidism as you might have learned from searching the internet. But your thyroid function tests are normal which rules out the thyrotoxicosis.
I would like to know whether you get these when you are facing a stressful situation. If so then it is an exaggerated response of normal sympathetic activity due to the stress hormones. Try relaxation, meditation, yoga etc. If these are not helpful, I could suggest a medication normally given to my patients with such problems and they are often relieved.
If you have further queries, I shall be happy to answer.
Good day!
Dr. Noble Zachariah
