General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The enteric fever with the organism s.typhi, is a debilitating fever, and mothers age is 52, so naturally she may be weak. In addition the drugs can cause the gastric irritation and cause the weakness.
I advise you to consult your doctor for weakness.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms infusion of fluids, injections of B complex, ranitidine, and protein supplements,
Ask her to take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods, to have a early recovery, and to have good resistance.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
