General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Madam, Hi & Welcome.

Based on the history given your baby seems to have developed lactose intolerance. It results from inability to fully digest the sugar (lactose) in milk due to deficiency of lactase (which helps in digestion of lactose).

This problem can be prevented by

1. Giving over-the-counter lactase enzyme supplement.
1. Avoiding large servings of milk and other dairy products or
2. Giving lactose-reduced or lactose free ice cream and milk

She needs to be examined by a pediatrician to assess the degree of dehydration and treatment.

Hope this will help her.
