What Is The Solution For Sore Throat And Spots On Tongue With Sores In Corners Of Mouth?

I have a sore throat and my tongue feels like it has been burned. nothing I do helps relieve the discomfort. My grandson also has spots on his tongue and he is drooling and has sores in the corner of his mouth. what can we do about it and what is wrong?

I have gone through your query regarding sore throat, spots over tongue and at the corners of mouth.

Your clinical history is in the favor of recurrent sore throat and inflammation at the angle of mouth which may be due to -

A- Vitamin C def.

B- Oropharyngeal candidiasis.

C- Dyspeptic stomatitis.

All above may be diagnose with the help of clinical examination and some investigations depending on the findings of clinical examination. Once the diagnosis is finalized treatment may be plan out.
