What Is The Solution For Persistent Cough In A 3 Yr Old Child?

I have daughter 3 years old and she this cough which is there since 2 months....I tried some home remedies and my doctor says she has allergic bronchitis.Is homeopathy good to treat this?I have been giving her homeopath for 3 weeks.Now my doctor suggests to give ascoril at night(3ml).Since 2 days she has been coughinh at night too.She has sometimes blocked nose .IU am not ablr to identify what kind of cough this is.She has no fever and her appetite is also fine and she is active too.ut her cough is really worrying me.She had fruits which was cold (guave,apple and papaya).Her weight is 12.5kg nad height is 96.7.Please help

hi there
add syrup zyrtec(cetrizine) one tsf at night.it looks like the cough is due to post nasal drip,which causes throat irritation and hence cough.Antihistamine will do in this case hopefully.
