What Is The Solution For Excessive Sweating Between Legs?

I am a thin lady. However, I sweat excessively between my legs, to wear my demin shorts or jeans will become wet. It is very uncomfortable and will sometimes smell. Is there any suggestions that you could recommend. I have tried powders and sprays with no luck. The reason I started off with I am thin, is because most people assume that overweight people have this problem.. I run atleast 3 miles a day.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi there...

Thanks for writing in..

Denim shorts or jeans are quite thick materials and does not help the skin to breathe.. It would be better if you wear light , slightly loose 100% cotton trousers or pants which help the skin to breathe.

Twice a day shower daily.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan
