What Is The Small Growth At The Extreme Corner Of The Eye?

I have something growing across my left eye from the extreme left corner. It s now pretty uncomfortable (gritty). I am told it s called teridium. Sometimes my eyes would burn, then start running as though I m crying. That eases the condition and occasional blurriness. What can I do. I am 48 and live in a tropical climate.(South America). Help!!! Never mind, I do not use credit cards.
