What Is The Small Blood Clot Near My Wrist?

Dear Dr , I have one small light colored blood clot like mark on my skin nearer to my right wrist bone but there is no swelling, no pain nothing. it will disappear while pressing and appear after released. Could you pls tell me what is it ? -ssd-

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is echymosis.If you are an elderly individual senile echymosis is common cause. If you are you are young and it if it occurred spontaneously you should get investigations like bleeding time,clotting time and prothrombin time done. Tablets containing Vitamin C may also be useful.Thrombophobe ointment may also help.Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
