What Is The Skin Tag Like Thing Just Inside Each Nostril?
I have something that resembles a skin tag just inside of each nostril, symmetrically located, on either side of the septum. Every once in a while they get hard and sort of fall off. My problem is that the one in the left nostril was sort of dry and I kept irritating it. It feels like the inside of my nostril is scratched when I move my upper lip around, tightening the skin around my nose. I'd like to find out if these are normal, like a gland or something, or if it is something I should get checked.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like cyst inside nose, nasal polyp or benign growth inside the nose . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order nasal endoscopy and physical examination along with sample for lab tests . Doctor mat surgically remove the nasal polyp or any other growth . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory and nasal spray .
