What Is The Significance Of Brown Discharge After Having Had An Intercourse?

I am 33 yrs old and I had my period for 2 and 1/2 wks and then I stopped and then me and my partner had sex and then after that I have been when I have going to the restroom to pee and wipe I have a brownish color on the toilet paper and I don t understand. Can you help me Please Thank you.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

A brownish discharge can be a sign of normalcy as well as abnormality. Normalcy would be if it is seen at the beginning or end of a period; and it would be considered abnormal if it is seen in association with infections, miscarriage, etc.

As you have mentioned a recent period, I am guessing this is normal, especially as you have not experienced any other symptoms indicating the presence of infections, etc.
