What Is The Side Effect If Ibuprofen And Celestone Are Taken Together?

Hi Doctor, My wife has a severe pain, causing by nerve pain.... Last night I d to get her Ibuprofen to reduce her pain. She is also on Celestone...The question is what is the side affect if she takes two of these drug together. You advice is appreciated.

Hi,

There is no major interaction between Celestone and Ibuprofen. So she can take ibuprofen for her pain if needed. However, ibuprofen should be used after meals and should be avoided if stomach problems or kidney diseases otherwise it can be used safely.
