What Is The Right Amount Of Milk To Be Fed To Babies?

Hi my baby is 3 months old and was 3 weeks early. She is taking 3/4 ounces 5 times a day. It is taking an hour to get each bottle into her and after an ounce of two she refuses the bottle and gets upset. It s a real struggle to get the rest into her. Her nappies are wet and she is having a bowel movement at least once or twice a day. Is this normal? Thank you. m

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello. I just read through your question. The numbers you report sound fine. The most important number, however, is the number on the scale when your pediatrician weighs her. if she is gaining appropriate weight, then you do not have to worry about her intake.
