What Is The Remedy For The Pus Filled Blister In A 17 Month Old?
Hi, my 17 month daughter touched my mother s curling iron. My mother took proper care of the burn immediately, however a dime sized blister did occur. It has since popped opened and is very sore. I tried to cut away the remaining blister skin while she slept, but couldn t get in to where it would be very effective. She rips off every bandage I put on to protect it from infection. I am worried! Do I have reason to be if I keep her indoors and clean? What about liquid band aid? Would that help or hinder?

I would recommend to apply turmeric mixed in clarified butter and make a paste. Apply it on blister. It's non toxic, natural antiseptic and antibiotic, antiinflammatory powder. Even if she sucks or taken mouth there would be no harm.
There will be no further pus formation. It may take few days before it heals properly.
Hope it helps. Pl keep child away from dangerous things like hot iron.
