What Is The Remedy For Hair Fall Due To Dandruff?

I am 27, been losing hair since 2002. I take head bath every day, if I don’t my scalp gets filled with dandruff and extremely itchy. After some research on net I started using Himalaya’s anti- dandruff shampoo (with tea tree oil) since last 15 months, i use it every day. Dandruff and itching are controlled but I still loose lot of hair. Itchy dandruffs returns after 4 to 5 months & hair loss starts. That’s why I have to shave my hair completely in every four months to get rid of this.Gone through google again n found it some kind of fungal/bacterial infection. Symptoms are very much likely to Seborrhoeic dermatitis.



I also have the same infection inside & back side of my ears.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis commonly known as Dandruff and the symptoms of dandruff, itching and hairfall is due to it..
Dandruff can damage hair follicles leading to hairfall..
It can be caused due to fungal infection, genes, change in weather, poor hygiene conditions, poor immunity etc..
I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and microscopic examination of the flakes can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly..
You can be advised to apply shampoo containing Ketoconazole, coal tar, salicylic acid, zinc, selenium, sulfides etc..
You can also be advised to massage the scalp with steroid lotion..
You should also keep the scalp clean and avoid moisture accumulation to prevent infection..
