Hi. U could be having an eustachian tube dysfunction with an early otitis media, i.e, infection in your middle ear, which explains your pain in the ear while swallowing. Can you recall any respiratory tract infection/cough/cold you had recently? Please do salt water gargling twice a day and steam inhalation with plain water 2-3 times a day. For the pain, you can take paracetamol 500mg twice daily for 3 days.If the pain persists or you develop fever then antibiotics may be required.

referred pain to the ear from any disease process in throat is very common, you might require medications for the throat like warm saline gargles, steam inhalation and antibiotics if required. try doing a monouver called valsalva - details can be found on NET
