What Is The Remedy For Chest Pain And High BP When On Clonodine And Norvasc?

Took husband to ER for chest pain and Bp of 168/118, he had been that way at home x5 hours, Bp continues to be high they gave clonodine, asa, did CBC cmp and triponin levels,,, meantime BP still not down.. Lab normal, EKG abnormal,gave IM INJECTION of nor flex, absolutly no effect on pain in chest, they then gave norvasc Told him they thought he torn muscle from chest wall, now home BP has decreased only slightly and chest pain continues..? What should I do...

Since your husband is hypertensive and having chest pain not relieved by medicines with abnormal ECG, in my opinion you should first undergo TMT or directly coronary angiography. Consult cardiologist and get it done.sometimes troponin levels may come normal in acute coronary symptoms.
