Hello,

As you been having confirmed with MRI about the Cervical spondylosis, is there any major nerve root entrapment or disc misplaced position. Also since you complain the pain in leg have you taken the MRI of the lumbar spine?

Any nerve root entrapment in that region? Now since the pain is now allowing you to run and have difficulty in the early morning after waking up, I think you should start doing exercises to stabilize the core, spinal muscles, hip muscle, lower-limb as a whole.

This will help reduce the stress over the lumbar spine nerve roots and also improve the functional ability.

As you mentioned about the cervical spondylosis you need to do exercise even for the neck muscles and upper limb as a whole.

Use hot water fermentation for neck and back which can help you relax the spasmodic muscles.

If exercise followed with disciplined than optimum results can be achieved by 3 weeks of time. Later on, the exercise should be followed to avoid getting the muscle into weakness.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Hi,

As the Cervical spondylosis will lead symptoms mostly to the cervical spine and the upper limb. In your case the history speaks about the lower limb symptoms? I think you should check for the lumbar spine x-ray as this may be related to the lumbar spondylosis.

It mentioned in history about cervical spondylosis then cervical soft collar will be good with hot water fermentation for muscles of the spinal column to relax and reduce the pain.

Doing core stability exercise, spinal muscle strengthening exercises, hip muscle strengthening exercises, static Quadriceps and static hamstring should provide good results and reduce the pain too.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

I have R.S.D. & I have not been able to financially keep up with that condition (for me acupuncture , massage therapy & exercise are my preferred therapy) ~ I have been dealing with RSD for over 20 yrs and I am a 46yr female. I have a new situation ... when I eat any amount of food & any type of food I become extremely tired after eating and find myself needing to sleep very soon after. No amount of caffeine or exterior input has helped with this feeling or even being up & moving around doing anything (housework, driving, being out with others, etc) .... need help or suggestion.
