What Is The Remedy For Bad Breath In One With Recurring Digestive Problems ?

What does h pylori breath smell like? I have severe COPD and my breath, upon arising in the morning, smells like rotting vegetables (I mean really rotting, putrid vegetables). At first I thought it was from bacteria in my lungs, but now I wonder if isn t actually from h pylori because I have a lot of stomach and intestinal issues with bloating and nausia.

Yes bad breath can be due to your digestive as well as COPD. In your case I think its due to excessive sputum formation which happens in COPD. This sputum smells very foul and can cause bad breath and bad taste in mouth. Digestive problems don't cause such foul smell that you suffer from.

Dentist Dr. Akash Prasad's  Response
Hello,
Bad breath can have many underlying reasons, one of them are digestive problems and more importantly COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). I suggest you see a Pulmologist to get COPD treated. Also u must see a Gastroenterologist to treat your stomach ailments.
Also get yourself checked by Dentist who will assess your oral hygiene status, and do a scaling procedure if required.
I hope this will help. Thanks.
