What is the relation between tiredness and anemia?

I sleep all the time and im still tired and lazy my mom says i have anemia because she was recently diagnosed which is a low amount of iron that causes me to be very tired is that true?please help me

anemia means low hemoglobin concentration in the blood,it can cause tiredness ,fatigue, & so many other problem .get your hemoglobin checked ,if less than start iron supplement along folic acid & vitamin B complex diet rich in iron like green leafy vegetables.dates ,banana,apples ,mango.Disclaimer

Hi: welcome to healthcare magic.... Tiredness can occur due to variety of reasons like anemia, infection, stress, Diabetes, hypothyroidism, low cortisol hormones, premenstrual tension and the list is toobig. But Anemia can cause tiredness and treatment will depend on the amount of HB%. If it is only mildly low you will benefit from Dates and other foods rich in iron. If it is very low you might need iron supplementation.
