What Is The Recovery Period From Redness/swelling After Taking Calpol?

my mother age 47 had fever for two days i.e. On last 3days before. She took 3tablets Calpol 650mg in a day. After taking those pills her fever reduced but there is having some side effect of it. Most of the parts of her body and face become redish and may be little amount of swelling has shown on her face. There is itching tendency showing some times. Now she is taking Avil 25 mg with consultation by a doctor. Sir when she will get recover out of it? Is it creates very much worry? Please consult.

Hi,

It is not advisable to take paracetamol in large doses. It can be fatal too. Though it needs 4 gm ingestion to be fatal. I would advise you to get her Liver function tests done just to be sure.
