Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

Noted your nephew has typhoid before 4 month...
Now he is recovering....What antibiotic was given to him ???

Mostly cefixime like antibiotic effective in killing typhoid salmonella bacilli.

But still if needed blood culture and sensitivity done to choose antibiotic...

Meanwhile for few days take care in diet and life styles measures ....

Fruit juice more.
Soft and bland diet.
Egg white and pulse like protein useful.
Meat and non veg avoided...
Outside food not taken....

Gradually you will recover.
If still titer remain high then it is chronic infection and for that consult physician.

Take care.
