What Is The Reason For Testicular Pain?

About 2 months ago I had an aching right testicle which I suddenly had after a night out unfortunatley I can't remember what happened but after about a week of th aching I went to the dr.
He examined them and said he can't feel any lumps and it might be epidtityis(spelling?) and unsure what that is I asked if it can be passed on to my Wife and he said no but I read somewhere that it's linked with Chlamydia? Is this true?
I was also concerened that my aging could be an sti but he asked if I had any discharge which I replied no to and he said well it's not then but surley he can't tell from just that?

Orchitis with STD from ?Chlamydia-
For definitive diagnosis- do following test-
LCr- Ligase Chain Reaction-on urine cells / or on prostatic massage fluid.
-Consult expert Urologist to come out with this problem.
