What Is The Reason For Sore Throat And Difficult In Swallowing Which Has Not Subsided Taking Tylenol And Allergy Medication?

I have been having a sore throat since June(it comes and goes). It is especially worse at night and causes me to loose sleep. I have difficulities swallowing and talking cause it sounds like I have a bad cold. I have also experienced hard time of breathing thru my nose. I have tried throat spray and advil and Tylenol and sinus and allergies medication and cold medicine but nothing helps.
