Hi,

Acne vulgaris is a multifactorial disease. Stress, anxiety, oily food, sleeplessness, dandruff, sun exposure, drugs like steroid, hormonal imbalance..etc may precipitate or exacerbate the disease. There may be genetic tendency. Seborrheic diathesis may be responsible. I advise in my patients as follow..
- antibiotic like cap minocycline 50 mg morning
- tretinoin cap 10 mg at night till side effect like chelitis is found
- clindamycine gel in morning
- benzoyl peroxide 2.5 % gel at night
- cleansing the face with cetaphil lotion
- to avoid precipitating factors

I hope this much might help you. You consult dermatologist for perfect treatment personally.

Thanks.
