What Is The Reason For Rectal Pain When Standing Or Sitting?

Hi my daughter has a non functional rectum. She has had a colostomy for 42 years. She had her rectum opened up at age 5 but not spencture muscle so they put colostomy back in. In her 30s she had a huge rectal prolapse. which was surgically removed and her rectum was closed off. now occasionally she has sever rectal pain where she can stand, sit or lay sow. she screams in pain and the doctors cant seem to find out why she is in so much pain. Can some one please help me help her?

HI
Thank fro asking to HCM
When history of rectal surgery is there then the cause of pain right now has to be investigated otherwise treating this with symptomatic medicine like pain killer medicine will give temporary relief but the underlying reason will remains untreated, so in my opinion have word with your surgeon and take care have nice day.
