HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the paralysis is due to a stroke which is a complication of high blood pressure.
It can also occur in persons with a history of high cholesterol, diabetes, smoking , family history of heart disease.

His doctor will likely initiate the following: (1) control of any risk factors such as the high blood pressure, high cholesterol
(2)physiotherapy to help him regain some movement if possible
(3)to avoid bed sores, venous disease - his position should be changed regularly
(4)may also need speech therapy if this is an issue

I hope this helps
