What Is The Reason For Loose And Foul Stools Of The Baby Who Was Diagnosed For Colonic Atresia?

Hello Doctor,
My baby is 14 months old.from yesterday she is suffering from loose motion. it is not so watery but very foul smell.today morning she passes 2 times.what can i do.please advice.
her past history:
After birth she diagnosed colonic atresia and Colonostomy was done.recovery OT also done at 4 month.
She also attacked sever diarrhoea 2 times at 3 months old.

thanks for writing in.
In colonic atresia as there are blind loops and functional impairment, there is accumulation of food products and abnormal fermentation leading to foul smell.
Only periodic course of antibiotics and oral re hydration will help maintain the homeostasis.
