What Is The Purpose Of Fertigyn 5000 Injection During Pregnancy?
Hi doctor, I am at the early stage of pregnency i.e., 6th week. My ultrasound scan report says everything as normal expect No echo sounds, Ges. Sac measures 1.1cmx1.2cm . My doctor advised me to take fertigyn 5000 injection once and repeat the scan after 10 days. May I know what for this injection is? Do you foresee any complications/problems in my pregnency?

Fertigyn is hcg injection which helps to maintain pregnancy in thretened abortion.. Fetal pole and cardiac activity has not appeared in your scan by 6th week.. SO to enhance the chance of pregnancy and to prevent miscarriage, this injection was prescribed.. Get a scan done after 10 days to see for fetal pole and cardiac activity..
