regor, who works at a pesticide factory, comes to the clinic complaining of muscle spasms that interfere with his movement nad breathing. A blood test shows that he has become contaminated with organophosphate pesticide. The doctor states that this type of pesticide is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. How does this finfing relate to his symptoms

acetylcholine is the main neurotransmiter helps in muscle movement. this type of pesticides inhibits the digestion of the acetylcholine in the muscle causing a prolong action and limitation in the movement. so all symptoms you mentioned is because of this phenomenon. so in treatment part you have to give them anticholinergic drugs. thanx healthcare magic.
