What Is The Prognosis For Ethmoid Sinusitis?

Good evening I was diagnose with an ethmoid sinusitis 2 years ago. I had no had any sympthoms since than but now I feel again a pressure on my right side of the brain. Can ethmoid sinusitis become cancer? is a CT scan the only way to check on it? thank you

Ethmoid sinusitis cannot become cancer, so I wouldn't worry about that.

A CT scan is a common way to check for sinusitis, though some doctors can use a tiny scope through the nose to look for evidence of sinusitis.

I would be most concerned for sinusitis if you had other symptoms that suggest it, like nasal drainage or obstruction, or loss of smell. Otherwise, sinusitis can sometimes cause head pain, but so can a lot of other things. Where exactly do you feel the pressure? On the right side of your head? Or the right side of your face?
