What Is The Possible Cause Of Vibrations In Limbs And Numbness?

HI dr. I have vibrations in both arms and legs... my fingers get a tingly numbness (even as I am typing this). what may be the possible cause? I also feel as though I have a strained muscle in my left arm. I am 32 yrs, and nursing a 7 month old baby. Am I deficient in a particular vitamin? (not taking any right now).

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello

There can be deficiency of vit B12 and Vit D .

Injectable vit B 12 are superior for achieving normal sr B12 level as intestinal absorption as with oral medication is not there, so I will advise to take intramuscular injection alternate day at least 10.
Vit B12 helps in nerve conduction so normal level will improve problem of numbness.

For vit D you can take cap Gen D3 60 k once in a week for 3 months.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
