What Is The Permanent Cure For Cracked Palms And Fingers?

Hi I have very dry and craked palms and fingers and with lotions they sometimes get a little better and then in a couple of days they are bad again what can I do.?? Nothing seems to ever clear it up completely and I am 72 years old now and have only had the problem the last 2 - 3 years and have tried all kinds of lotions even some prescriptions from my dr. but nothing seems to clear it up???

Hello sir,

welcome to healthcaremagic. I read your query and understood your concern.

Actually cracked palms and soles are mostly due to dry skin. In old age, skin further becomes dry and lose its suppleness, so the problem also exacerbates.

You need to apply good amount of moisturizers and keratolytic preparations like cotaryl cream, ureative cream 2-3 times a day regularly.
