What Is The Opinion On CXR Showing Minor Residual Lung And Increased Interstitial Markings?
I recently suffered a bout with pneumonia. Follow up cxr done two weeks later. Showed minor residual left lung. Increased interestual markings diffusely- a more focal infiltrare is no noted. The hila areprominate, bilaterally. Heart appears stable. Not: I have a hx of pulmonary hypertension. I also have chronic atrial fib.

According to the reports,you have some residual effects of infection.You may need to take few more days antibiotics.
Increased interstitial markings may be due to many factors like infection,bronchitis etc.
Other findings are normal.
Both hila are normal and heart appears normal.
