What Is The Numbing Patch Above My Left Rib?

Hi Dr.i have a numbing patch above my left rib it started with itching five days ago.I had blood work done results came with protein in the kidneys ,my blood sugar was 140 I m not diebetic ,am on a diet now to bring the sugar level down she also gave me lisinopril to protect the kidneys, my liver is enlarged, and i think its also my spleen.i take Atenolol 50mg. Simvastatin 10mg,i started walking 5 days a week 4 miles a day,am 51 years old female,by the way am going to my dr, tomorrow to check on that numbing patch i hope nothing serious,please if you have an answer for my worries I do appreciate your help,thank you. P.S.I was trying to search for an answer and decided to try and ask thank you again.

I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion, you should rule out cardiac cause first because you are at higher risk of cardiovascular disease.
Your age is 51 years (postmenopausal), you are taking lipid lowering drugs, antihypertensive drug etc. So better to first rule out cardiac cause for your symptoms.
So consult cardiologist and get done clinical examination, ecg and 2d echo to rule out heart diseases.
You may require Angiography too.
So better to consult cardiologist and discuss all these.
