Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It's really disheartening to know that your close ones have behaved badly with you in the past which is making you feel sad right now...
It will be very difficult to forgive those people all at once...
Better thing to do is to go for a morning walk daily, exercise for 2 to 3 days in a week, make new friends and constantly be in touch with close ones whom you like, listen to music, watch movies...
If you still doesn't feel good then try to write down all your feelings in your diary regularly so that you start feeling better... All the trauma might have been like a burden for you in your life which will reduce by your expressing in written form in your diary...
hope you will be good in a couple of weeks and as of now, no particular medications are needed for you...
hope i solved your query and feel free to ask any further...
Thank you...

I went through a huge emotional trauma about 1 year ago. Literally, within 2 weeks, my skin started becoming thinner on my hands, and over the last 9 months, I have watched it spread over my whole body. I have excess skin on my hands, arms... I can pick it up quite easily and it s as though the first layer of skin has separated from the underlying tissues. My hands look like crumpled tissue paper most days. I am 42 and have seen 2 dermatologists and have had extensive blood work done. My blood work has all come back fine. Do you have any recommendations?

I have been involved in a relationship where the other person communicates very little, and is anti social. It is up to me to make all arrangements to do anything social ( and mostly this includes drinking alcohol)... If anything goes wrong, or I change my mind about going after making plans, my partner becomes very upset. I feel like I cannot talk to anyone or my partner gets upset. I am exasperated, and have decided I cannot deal with this anymore and have told him to get some counselling and to find a woman who is deaf and dumb to fulfill his needs. Because of my critisicms lately, and we just got back from a holiday, he spent 4 days not speaking to me, and that made me even more upset. I have had it and think we should part, and last night he disagreed, but today is in agreement as I am still upset with the whole situation. What should I do ? keep walking.... and find someone else to befriend (I am 63 and he is 62) I am divorced since 1991 and he is widowed for under 1 year.

I am a surrogate parent for a 19 year old autistic male who was abandoned by his parents after years of sexual and emotional abuse by them. He has had two incidents in his life when he does not remember what happened (what he did) during episodes of rage. One event was beating his abusive father years ago and the other was this week when he assaulted another teen over a minor rejection then went to his room and put a belt around his neck and applied pressure until he was found unconscious. He does not recall either hitting the boy or using the belt. Is there a name for the condition of not remembering acts committed when in a state of rage?
