What Is The Medication For Scab Like Patch On The Tongue?

I have a small white scab-like patch on the side of my tongue. I don't know if it going away or not yet. It dosen't seem too so far but I only noticed it 3 or 4 days ago. It is about 2 or 3mm wide and a little longer in size. I have had colon cancer and this is worrisome to me. What could it be. I did burn my tongue lately with hot and spicy foods. Could that be it. Thank you.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain a small white scab like patch over the tongue can be a Leukoplakia patch while it can also be due to other caused like Frictional Keratosis that can be due to continuous rubbing of the tongue to the side of teeth..
It can also be due to tongue bite that can be accidental or some individuals have a mal habit of tongue biting....
I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he can do a clinical examination and in case if there is any doubt a Biopsy can be advised to you to rule out the exact nature of the lesion and treat you accordingly..
As of now you can take multivitamin supplements..
Take anti oxidants like Lycopene..
You can avoid smoking or chewing tobacco in case if you do..
Maintain a good oral hygiene..
