What Is The Medication For Depression?
I have a close friend who is in a deep depression she won t get out of bed and drinks all day her internist prescribed her an antidepressant and it seems to have the reverse affect. I m afraid she is going to kill herself please help Her internist is Dr.Woo Thank you Melissa

she won't get out of bed and drinks all the day.. but what she drinks?
whether she drinks alcohol?
if she drink it then there is no effect of medication as alcohol sometimes cause depression.
what are the other features of depression?
she has any suicidal ideas?
work impairment or not?
family support?
any stress behind depression?
