What Is The Medication For Abdominal Tuberculosis?

hi doc,

i have a 10 year old son who was scanned and was told that has abdominal tuberculosis. he gets a very high temperature and it starts from his stomach while his feet are cold. how do i deal with the situation? can you prescribe the medicine for me and the dosage for his age? thanks,

Hi... First of all abdominal TB is not diagnosed by scanning. I would like to have some more information regarding his recent weight loss & chronic fever and loss of appetite. Its not right to start treatment for TB without arriving at a bacteriological diagnosis, in this era of drug resistant TB. Kindly see your pediatrician regrading the same. Happy to help anytime.
