What Is The Medication For Bronchitis And Cough?

I was on a cruise and got bronchitis and went to a pharmacy in Europe and the druggist gave me Broncoliber for my cough. Is there any place in the US that I can get this without a prescription. If not is there anything like it or can I get some thru the mail.

Pulmonologist 's  Response
Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist and get done
1. Clinical examination of respiratory system.
2. Chest x ray.
3. PFT ( pulmonary function test ).
Better to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
Chest x ray is needed to rule out lung infection.
PFT is needed to diagnose bronchitis. It will also tell you about severity of the disease. And treatment of bronchitis is based on severity only.
You may need inhaled bronchodilators and antihistamine drug.
So better to first diagnose yourself and then start appropriate treatment.
