What Is The Medication For 5 Month Old With Cold And Cough?
i have a 5 month old baby, i am suffering from cold and cough both because of that my baby also have same problem.I belong to INDIA am giving medicine to my baby ,contains phalcodine but no improvement is there kindly suggest some tips how to carry new born baby in cold season.

I can understand your concern.
I suggest you to not to try such self medication with your baby. It may prove to be dangerous some times.
Please monitor for danger signs. The danger signs are
1. Poor feeding and repeated vomiting.
2. Lethargy.
3. Loss of consciousness.
4. Fits or seizures.
Monitor for the following in a child with cough.
1. Rapid breathing.
2. Chest indrawing while breathing.
3. Abnormal noise while breathing.
4. Nasal flaring
5. Bluish discoloration of fingers (cyanosis)
6. Irritability or lethargy
If your baby has any of these you should consult your doctor immediately
Please get a pediatric consultation at the earliest.
